Magics CalCard is a 3D Analysis & viewing software that allows the automatic export of dimensioned results into Perfect CalCard.
Magics CalCard includes features common to other 3D viewers (measuring, sectioning, labeling, etc) with additional features such as wall thickness and draft analysis as well as automatic sizing and complexity level setting of undercuts & openings analysis, (see picture below - green areas are undercuts on the projected area)
Magics CalCard works directly with Perfect CalCard and allows you to quickly analyze the part data for all of the things an estimator would want to know before quoting a job. In short order, the user can orient the part into mold/tool die direction, check for undercuts and draft, measure wall thickness, and even generate a basic cavity and core block based on the pull direction and parting line. Once the analysis is complete, you can automatically export these results back into Perfect CalCard. The surface area, volume, weight based on material density, fully dimensioned undercuts, openings, inserted areas, ribs, bosses, etc. are recorded automatically for use in your mold/tool and production price quotes.
